Favorite Album: PG 1, the first one I bought and my favorite to this day!
Favorite Song: Accordingly, "Solsbury Hill"...although probably not my
housemate's since she's heard it *so* often...
Favorite Gabriel-Era Genesis Album: The Lamb. Definitely. (I've always
wanted my answering machine to pick up with, "You've reached the Colony of
Slippermen...")
Least Favorite Song: Ah. Don't think I have one. :)
Favorite Music Video: I don't have a television!
Favorite Tour: The next one, if it comes during my lifetime...
Favorite CD ROM: Xplora. Groundbreaking. I wonder if the new album will
be released "enhanced?"
Best Hair Era: (Good question!) The cover of So. I can't even describe.
Favorite Album Cover: PG1, especially on the inside cover with the "eyes"
photograph...or maybe "Plays Live"...wish *I* could show up to work
wearing that flavor of makeup...
Favorite Non-Album Song: Do the German versions count?
Favorite Collaboration: Paula Cole. A friend loaned me the album and I
was *so surprised* to hear who I did...
Favorite Non-Gabriellian Artist: Copland, Shostakovich, Prokofiev,
Bernstein, Mahler, Bruckner, etc., etc.
Favorite Pastime Between Album Releases: Learning the lyrics in
pig-Latin, dusting my houseplants, making music of my own with big
orchestras (put off several conductors by asking when we were doing the
riffs for "Down the Dolce Vita")
Best *Idea* For a Collaboration: the Kronos Quartet, Ani diFranco,
anything where a starving concert clarinetist might fit in :)
I Think the New Album Title Should Be...(would say "it" after the closing
song on Lamb, but wasn't that a film?) so maybe "if" or "be"--the most
enigmatic two-letter words I can think of...
Comments: How can I sign up to be one of those "Solsburians in Black?"
[Editor's note: You just did. Wait for the next update...]
