Favorite Album: a tie between So and Us (So was a landmark, Us is a
remarkably cohesive album)
Favorite Song: In Your Eyes (oh man, can love songs get any better?)
Favorite Gabriel-Era Genesis Album: The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. it's
pretty good, isn't it?
Least Favorite Song: Excuse Me (barbershop? what the-?!?!)
Favorite Music Video: Steam. Let's not forget about Sledgehammer or Digging
in the Dirt either
Favorite Tour: Secret World, since I've got the video for it.
Favorite CD ROM: hmmm, don't have any
Best Hair Era: So. Definitely So.
Favorite Album Cover: tie - Secret World Live and Security (but what the heck
is it???)
Favorite Non-Album Song: I'm partial to I Grieve on City of Angels.
Lovetown's pretty good too.
Favorite Collaboration: Paula Cole on the Secret World Live Tour. (two
fascinating musicians, two incredible voices, one stage. it doesn't get any
better)
Favorite Non-Gabriellian Artist: U2
Favorite Pastime Between Album Releases: watching the Secret World Live
video, wanting the next album to come out, singing to Secret World cd, aging 6
years (he sure takes a while doesn't he?)
Best *Idea* For a Collaboration: Sting or Sarah McLachlan
I Think the New Album Title Should Have Been... Silver
Comments: reason why In Your Eyes is my fave - the song is kept ambiguous, to
refer to either the love between man and woman, or man and God. You can
interpret the chorus as either, and the song has the exact same meaning. The
same emotion, the same feeling. Wow.
Plus, I like the Secret World tour cause that's the only one I've seen (and
that's only on video). Was anyone at the So concerts? I would have loved to
have been there (and to hear Mercy Street performed live).

95 From James

Favorite album: Passion
Favorite song: "Biko." It changed my life.
Best Gabriel-era Genesis album: Selling England by the Pound
Least favorite song: Peter singing the entire version of the Beatle's "Revolution 9" in the last groove of "White Shadow" on the Scratches album (or is that just on my copy?).
Best video: Sledgehammer - it stands the test of time.
Favorite tour: I've seen every tour, and the US tour was the best I've seen since the Lamb.
Favorite CD-ROM: Haven't jumped into one yet.
Best Hair Era: Hard to say. Peter may feel more creative these days reducing the amount of ego activity associated with keeping hair  just so (no pun intended). The baldness of the Melting tour and the Up-look are somehow very different.
Best Album Cover: I like the fluidity of the US cover:  coming embrace or passionate release?
Non-album song: Without a doubt, "Jettzt Komm Die Fleut." When will we hear it on CD?
Favorite collaboration:  Robert Fripp
Favorite non-Gabriellian: Dougie MacLean, check out his MARCHING MYSTERY or INDIGENOUS.
Pastime between albums: Composing music, marketing my own CD which I hope to send to Peter as a gift some day soon.
Ideas for collaborations: Richard Thompson and Peter would make a very unique songwriting team. Sarah McLachlan  I'm sure would love to work with him. Heidi Berry, a songwriter remeniscent of Sandy Denny.
New Album Title: After the Upple (pun on Eden and Up) or just Peter's Up (maybe the makers of Viagra can sponsor the next tour - they must be filthy rich).
