were in a foreign language. "Wouldn't it be nice if someone
could translate some of these pages for us simple-minded Americanos?"
thought us. Then we stumbled across the Babelfish engine online
which attempts to do just that. "Attempts to" is the
key phrase here.
You see, you can type in a URL to translate a page from, let's say German to English, but any English reader can tell rather quickly that the Babelfish engine is a bit flawed. However, we found these flaws to be more fun than listening to Gabriel tunes backwards and deciphering secret messages.
What's *really* fun in many cases is to translate something to either Italian, French, or German, then translating that Italian, French, or German page back into English. Take an example from our pages. Here's the original paragraph...
