Gabriel in Milan, Italy: The Epicenter of Gabriellian Fandom

Marco says of this scene that this was set up (In Duomo Place, Milan) so there would be some nifty extra footage of the "Growing Up" tour DVD. While it wasn't totally announced, people knew something was about to take place beforehand. "There was music, 'Growing Up' and the people were dancing on the road!"

Why is Gabriel not smiling even though Gabriel is standing next to Marco and a group of happy PG fans?

Because he knows deep down, it's wrong not to share beverages with others!

They guy with the large earrings is Bobbie Rae, Rachel Z's drummer. And in the center is Rachel Z, and behind her, the exellent Mr. Mozo!

Guy with the fuzzy beard is Marco's brother and Rachel Z associate, and next to him in the white guitar shirt is Cristina Pacheco from Portugal!

Armando takes his PG fanship very seriously!

Marco explains, "Aramando is a young boy with a good sense of humor from south of italy and he called me and said, 'I have a dream! I want to meet melanie!' We arranged this and me with rachel help him, and he lives in a dream now." Beware the hallucengenic effects of Melanie!

The usual suspects and if you look in the lower right corner, next to Cristina, there's a cameo appearance of Tony Levin!:)

Here is the Italian PG fanclub outside of the arena on the second night for Milan. Have you ever seen such a great looking and well-dressed group?

Marco said that shortly after the picture was taken, the whole group sang, "Red rain is coming down..." Alas, we don't have a sound file!

It's also worth noting that the second Milan show made a rare appearance of the song "No Way Out".

Marco says of the audience that night, "YES! INCREDIBLE EMOTION!"

Marco said that the Rachel Z's solo performance in the small club between PG shows went very well, and the audience was great! She played, jazz covers of Joni Mitchell, Pino Daniele and even an instrumental version of "Don't Give Up!"
