Favorite Album: It's got to be Up, although Security and So run a close second and third

Favorite Tour: Growing Up, because it will be my first - got my tickets for Boston!
Favorite CD ROM: Haven't been there yet.
Best Hair Era: Steam/Digging in the dirt - long enough to grab ahold of, grey enough to be dignified.
Favorite Album Cover: Shaking the Tree
Favorite Non-Album Song: When you're falling
Favorite Collaboration: Youssou N'Dour
Favorite Non-Gabriellian Artist: can't pick just one  - I like the Red Hots, Offspring, Annie Lennox, Sum 41, Sting, Dave Brubeck...
Favorite Pastime Between Album Releases: singing.   Teaching my kid to sing.  Teaching my dog to sing.  Eating ice cream.
Best *Idea* For a Collaboration: Annie Lennox
I Think the New Album Title Should Be...: PG  - two letters, AND self-titled
Comments:  Let's form a petition demanding that the Gabriel show more of himself in his videos.  I'm already tired of his "narrator" or "greek chorus" figure - I want All Gabriel, All the Time!

to have his music in my life. Cheers man... (blub blub)

Favorite Album: UP. It's just that good. Growing UP/More than this/Signal
to noise just blow my doors off
Favorite Song: either solsbury hill or signal to noise

Tigger

Favorite Album--Shaking The Tree
Favorite Song--How tough can you get? In Your Eyes all-time, but currently, thanks to a new album and an awesome tour, Sky Blue
Favorite Gabriel-Era Genesis Album--LLDoB
Least Favorite Song--This Is the Picture, I guess...
Favorite Music Video--haven't seen too many, but Sledgehammer is awesome
Favorite Tour--Growing UP, of course! (Only one I've seen, back in December and coming up again in July)
Favorite CD ROM--Never seen one :(
Best Hair Era--SWL, although at his current age I love the look he's got now
Favorite Album Cover--So--how could it not be? He's just so darn vulnerable-looking!
Favorite Non-Album Song--That'll Do, it melts your heart
Favorite Collaboration--Youssou N'Dour
Favorite Non-Gabriellian Artist--U2, Stan Rogers, Sarah McLaughlin, the Proclaimers
Favorite Pastime Between Album Releases--hmm...graduating high school, graduating university, starting a career, switching careers....okay, okay, yes, it was a long time, we got that--guitar, painting, and photography (not good enough for album art yet, but I'm working on it!)
Best *Idea* For a Collaboration--in the real world, PG & Bono, that would rock--in Tigger's little world, PG and Bing Crosby
I Think the New Album Title Should Be...--I'm liking I/O, especially if it means two albums! ;o)
Comments: I just want to say again how incredible it was to see our hero live. I went in disliking songs like BWS and S2N, and came out thinking they were great! S2N is now a favourite. Can't wait to see him again in July in a (slightly) more intimate setting, and see what he does with that.

Hi there!
A PG survey from Hungary! I hope I'm the first!

as I can. I just have to name a few others: Here Comes the Flood, Love
to Be Loved, San Jacinto
Favorite Gabriel-Era Genesis Album The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway
Least Favorite Song Kiss of Life (I mean, what does this have to do with
anything before it on Security?)
Favorite Music Video Digging in the Dirt (also Don't Give Up - simple, but
great)
Favorite Tour Growing Up - my first first-hand experience of PG live
(though the SW Tour must have been amazing)
Favorite CD ROM -
Best Hair Era SWL (I like the current one too)
Favorite Album Cover Up
Favorite Non-Album Song Lovetown
Favorite Collaboration Paula Cole (I hope that one counts, she's
awesome on SWL)
Favorite Non-Gabriellian Artist Black Sabbath (no raised eyebrows
please), Genesis, Rush, King Crimson, Pink Floyd
Favorite Pastime Between Album Releases singing, reading
Best *Idea* For a Collaboration Anneke Van Giersbergen
(from The Gathering)

Comments: I'm happy to have such a site dedicated to my favourite
musician (honestly - many other great musicians have truly lackluster
fan sites)

Hi Loonatics!!!!!!!!!! Best greetings from Germany! I've seen the fantastic Oberhausen show and I've got to say: It was worth beeing a fanatic fan for over 10 years, shaving my head and wearing black all the time! To see him finaly made my little heard go wild :)... But you know that yourself, don't you?
Well, anyway... I'd love to be found in the survey, too!
Here we go..... :D

Favorite Album --US... All Gabriel albums are great but I deeply fell in love with the personal touch of this one :)
Favorite Song --14 Black Paintings!!! I listened to this track 100's of times, on the street, on my way to work... school... in the bus, taking a shower... everywhere!! A wonderfull peace of art :).
Favorite Gabriel-Era Genesis Album--Selling England by the Pound!
Least Favorite Song--Oh Oh.... LEAST FAVORITE??? WHAT THE F..... Ask me again and I'm gonna cry! :( [We here at the Hill love to make people cry. What's your least favorite PG song?--Ed.]
Favorite Music Video--Digging in the Dirt!! I love that agressive look on Pete's face and smashing the windshield! I tried that once... but, you know what? IT HURTS!! lol!
Favorite Tour--OH, I must say, POV! Secret World Live is of cource wonderfull, but somehow I enjoyed the POV Video a little more... mercy street was much more dramatic then anywhere else... And don't forget the body surfing! Ever tried that on your way to work?
Favorite CD ROM--Xplora, but it never ran that good on my machine... no, ain't got MAC here!
Best Hair Era --His new and shiny BOLD ERA lookes best to me! And practical, too! No one will ever notice you had a bad sleep when your hair is gone :)
Favorite Album Cover--Melt! cool Halloween gag if you look like that!
Favorite Non-Album Song--Curtains and Don't Break this Rhythm!!! I love those 2 tracks alot! B-side tracks are realy cool from time to time!
Favorite Collaboration--Deep Forrest! Why? Good question... I sometimes enjoy dance tracks when I'm not listening to Peter. Deep Forrest had this interesting and groovy track called "While the Earth Sleeps". (soundtrack of I think it was called "Strange Days") Hey, I think it's cool!
Favorite Non-Gabriellian Artist--MMmmm... quite a few... Lene Marlin, Sting, Enya, System of a Down, Staind and a lot of great movie scores :) and other metal bands
Favorite Pastime Between Album Releases--I like to realy beat up the time with video games and draw comics... then when Peter is ready for more action, I stand UP and go out for his tours!!..... Or I'm doing house cleaning :D
Best *Idea* For a Collaboration--Youssou N'Dour! The song "This Dream" was fantastic! I'd love to hear more!!
I Think the New Album Title Should Be...A double CD album "OK" and "KO"!! OK for up beat tracks and fun musik... and KO for the hard, deep, melancholic knock out's from the good old Gabe :)
Comments: Melanie Gabriel is a beatiful young woman, don't you think? I realy enjoyed her performance at Gorwing Up Tour! I don't get it why some people are complaning about her and her "bad"singing talents!! I wish they would calm down a little! It's worse enough to hear things like "Genesis were Gabriels BEST years".... and so on and so on...Melanie might not be the second Kate Bush or Paula Cole! After Peter gave her all the starting help she needs, she could make it on her own and blast us against the wall with a new peace of musical ideas!
Just wait and see....

Ian Hoopes
